About the Tournament

Caldwell County Rotary Club will hold their 1 Annual Parent - Partner Open Golf Tournament on Friday June 19, 2009 at Cedar Rock Country Club. A 1:00 pm shotgun start will follow a buffet lunch starting at 11:30 am. Registration for the tournament is $100 per two man team and includes lunch, golf and cart fee and refreshments during play. The tournament is open to competition for two person teams participating in one of three flights, Father - Son Flight, Mother - Daughter Flight and Mixed Open Flight.

The tournament Hole-In-One prize this year will be a Rookie Driving Experience at the Richard Petty Driving School at Charlotte Motor Speedway. If no one wins the prize with a hole-in-one, there will be a drawing to award the prize to a lucky tournament participant.

The tournament benefits the Rotary Club Youth Scholarship Program. The Club awards three $2,000 scholarships per year to graduating seniors of the three county high schools and a $500 scholarship to CCC&TI "I Have A Dream". Caldwell Rotary has awarded over $67,000 in scholarships since it was chartered in 1983.
